NEWS from Lisa: Dreaming of JULY

My brother Richard circa 1982.

This will be a very short newsletter as June has been a very sad month for me with the loss of my eldest brother Richard at 71 years of age and my step-father Bob at almost 99. I’m not sure what I would do without my incredibly supportive Bakehouse Studio community in times like this!
Art has also been therapeutic for me this month with a visit to the wonderful Bundanon Museum and Homestead. This amazing property and legacy of the Boyd family was gifted to the NSW Government for art education, residencies in support of the arts.

If you haven’t been yet, I highly recommend a visit to Bundanon! More Info here

You’ve found it!

The Bakehouse Shed in Marrickville is a space for people with a woodwork project but no space
Or machines, or tools.

It's even for people with no skills and a vague idea about what end of a hammer to hold.
