NEWS FROM LISA: Spring Celebrations

It’s finally here. The birthday month I’ve been waiting for both anxiously and excitedly - I’m not sure in what measures. I’m Libran so I like balance but have you ever seen a scale before it reaches its equilibrium? This year I set myself some big goals to make some big sculptures bringing my two great loves of art and life, inextricably together. What better way to celebrate ‘making it’ this far, than with five exhibition openings in one month!

Now that all the hard work is done, I‘m so looking forward to spending some time with family and friends both old and new, in the gardens and galleries of some great exhibitions. I really hope you can get to some of these upcoming events. You will find my sculptures installed on some very interesting sites that are well worth the visit. Here they are:

1. Sculptures in the Gardens, Rosby Winery
October 7th - 22nd

I’ll be there on Saturday 7th and on Sunday 22nd October for some weekend wine tasting and picnics

2. Les Sculptures Refusées, Quarantine Station, Manly
Postponed - new dates to be advised.

3. HIDDEN Satellite,, McGlade Gallery Strathfied
October 14 - November 4

I’ll be at the opening event 2-4pm October 14, AFTER I VOTE YES at the REFERENDUM. You can book your free ticket here:

Gustava’s Kiss will be at site #30 at HIDDEN Rookwood Sculptures

4. HIDDEN Rookwood Sculptures, Rookwood

I’ll be at the opening event on Saturday 21st from 2-5pm and attending the following guided tours :
